I have no idea on the brand that was in the car. A good portion of it was taken out with the firewall, tunnel and subframe connector mods. We did use lizard skin on the inside of the quarters before installing the new ones. The doors, roof and firewall-floorboards may get lizard skin with dynamat on top but haven't decided yet.

Sitting on its wheels again...sort of. Some test fitting of the modified rear end, rear flush glass and bumper test fit. Was going to french in the stock bumper but I am kind of digging this Anvil bumper. Not sure if it will go body color or not yet.

Been awhile since I have posted. Metal work is nearing completion finally. The flush glass has been a challenge but the gaps are now perfect. We decided not to use any gasket material for the glass. Tail panel modification is nearing completion with a number of subtle changes. The corners are just roughed in so we can get the bumper fitted how we want. The Anvil CF bumper now lies in three pieces. Yikes.

Guess I need to change the thread title again too as I decided to go with a NA LS motor.

Thanks. Frustrating long story. I had to pull the car from the body shop that was working on the car. Finally heading to a new shop in 10 days that will knock it out. Meanwhile finishing up the remaining chassis work. New engine arrives next week. I did finally get the ZZ572 back from the engine shop...800hp on pump gas (solid roller, CamMotion cam w/ LS firing order, AFR 335cnc heads, 105mm Accufab TB, etc.) but change of plans as it is going into a '70 Chevelle.
