The intent will be that this is the prototype vehicle showcasing everything that will be available immediately (and there's more to come). We've always thought it makes a lot of sense that the components can come in choice of kit levels and/or a la carte. One of the challenges has been to get a part break out that makes sense for manufacturing and potential buyers. For example, as you said Al, not everyone is in love with that headlight aesthetic, the can opt not to purchase that.

The single side glass with integrated CF mirror alone will be a cool mod as well as the rear decklid/spoiler kit or the CF hood.

Of course, the builder and manufacturer will want everyone to buy everything in Carbon Fiber (and install it) but realistically the product line will potentially have greater success with the ability to personalize. We spent quite a long time trying to figure out how to achieve this look in your driveway. I mean that's why we're all modifying our cars isn't it, to be "different"?

Good eye Al! Yes, I drew a lot of inspiration from the 05 GT-R concept and 08 Shelby GT500KR concept. There are a lot of bold design cues on both that we tried to smoothly integrate into a 67-68. We all know the current Mustang is the modern interpretation of that vintage but the surfaces and details were completely different. You can't just throw the modern crispness and geometric styling on an old car, it looks "stuck on" and that's exactly the opposite of what we wanted to do.

Just offer a round headlight version too, if possible
Did you do any renderings showing a round version?

Rear photos from this morning, this is in progress so it's still missing some details...

If that were the case, I would have put "$4.99 per view"!

I agree with you about that. Someone needs to do one for a first gen Camaro. I saw the green one you pointed to above. I watched it for awhile hoping at least some of the parts would make it onto the market. (Especially if they had made some killer subtle parts for the '69, the stuff that would have would have seems logical on a true racing version of the car. The Corvette Grand Sport was a good example of creative Racing Flash. Even if the parts had not actually been invented in that time and had only borrowed some performance enhancements from some of the more modern race cars. You know the things you can add all of or part of to make your car a more one-of-a-kind ride, yet still keep the classic. The Mustang guys seem to have a big head start on the poor Camaro crowd)

Anyway, I watched it for quite a while then one day it was gone!

Almost like it had been a dream.................

I looked numerous times thinking it must only be an oversight from the web master or business. But I haven't seen any of it since then.

That's too bad. It showed a lot of promise and artistic ability.

If you run across that guy or girl who was working in that direction, let them know it looked like a good idea, and a fresh approach for Camaro Aficionado's.

Pass this along if you get a chance.

LOL!!

Yeah, that is MY car in that picture. It is way too long to type out here so if you're bored, here is some reading on why the car is not done and the body kit is not in production.

The story of 50/50's death.
