I agree with you Vince, the welds look outstanding. I have a funny feeling the intake that shows up at your door won't look like the one pictured. After all, have you ever got a Big Mac that looked like the one on the menu?

I can sell you a sheet metal intake for $800....and you would buy it. But I'd only do it once. How hard can it be.

Come on Garic, you can have your Big Mac but leave that Mc Rib alone.

At $800, I can assure you the seller will sell hundreds of them. In this hobby of ours where many guys would kill for expensive parts and along come this one at a third of the original price. Best believe these will sell like hotcakes, as they say. Shood, some member on here is going to buy one. How much do you want to bet? I like the Big Mac analogy.

Thats that mentality that got this country the way it is now..

hows that for rolling on the floor..

I bet if we saw some bootleg DSE "hydroformed" subframes on ebay for 700 bucks maybe folks might get more serious about what im saying..

It is from ProComp......it may be fine but even if it made 500 horsepower on a stock LS3 and you gave me one I would make a bong out if it.

More reading if you would like http://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/sh...php?p=10458279

ProComp is the same "manufacturer" that was selling the spot on MSD ignition box clones......after some time spent in court you will notice ProComps boxes are blue now.

I have a set of manifolds made in China and the welds look perfect. Almost like a machine welded them. Not to mention they were 395$ verses the 2K for the same thing made here......

Every one of us owns something made in China. In fact my DC Shoes I'm wearing right now say "Made in China" LOL!

I get what everyone is saying about cheap copies, what it does to the economy, negative effect on the "true" high-end piece, etc.. I think most buyers nowadays are pretty savvy. As long as they aren't presenting it as another brand, most know what they are buying and are ok with it being a lesser quality piece. It doesn't look to me that they are trying to "fool" anybody.

I don't see this as any real threat to Hogan or PM or any of the high end fabricators. Their market is someone who wants (and can afford) the best and bragging rights to their label. Those builds involve $3-4k intakes and Forgelines, not ebay intakes and Intros...
