Default subframes - again.....

i know this is an old topic at this point, and I have read the extensive comparison that was posted several months ago.

has anyone used the 21st century or martz chassis? also, has anyone used the lateral dynamics rear suspension, and, if so, are they still in business?

i am getting ready to do another 1st gen project and really want to step up to a DSE, Morrison, CA Chassisworks, Martz, Speedtech or one of the other manufacturers. the same applies to the rear suspension. has morrison's rear product come out yet?

actual user comments would be appreciated. i have read articles, etc and there is so much data it almost gets even more confusing as what to actually purchase. it seems like they are all so similar, i wonder if there are any meaningful differences in the actual use of the products. any thoughts are appreciated.

thanks again to all of you that make this site fantastic!

Chuck

it should be possible to find the info on the different subframes with the search function.. it has been discussed to death.. twice! with regards to the lateral dynamics ATS are the sole vendor as far as i know and having first hand experience dealing with tyler i can only recomend them....

if it were me id install a chicayne front suspension from ATS on the stock sub frame and possibly a lateal dynamics rear with some tubs... install it with half height solid bushinga and a set of subframe conectors and you have one awesome handling 1.gen

use solid body bushings....just not the half height as it causes tranny fitment issues.

I would go with the Chassie Works or Art Morrison set ups front and rear they both are great companies and have great products. If you need the body mounts we manufacture the solid billit ones.
