well the culprit is Clostridium perfringens and its habitet is soil.. and it causes.. youve guessed it gas-gangrene so just be carefull not to contaminate the wounds with soil and dirt.. the screws are solidly planted in your bones and especially in your tibia there is a very short distance to travel from skin level to the bone.. and your immune system has a real hard time fighting off an infection once its in bone.. the tissue just isnt vasculized enough...

anywat, it looks like the ancle joint it self didnt suffer so you will be humping allong shortly

I got titanium in my back you only got stainless.
