I'm glad you guys dig the renderings. Tom and the guys at All Speed have been a joy to work with and I can't wait to see what they do with the car! So far all of their work has come out just like (if not better) than the renderings and I'm sure this car will be no exception.

Maybe you could call it the Foreclosure Express, LOL
Thanks for the good word. No doubt, living in Michigan - foreclosures are all we close these days!

Thanks for the interest in this project. As you can see from the photos, this girl was rough when we picked her out of a yard on the east coast. The teardown went well with just a few surprises.

Thanks. You should stop by ASP and see the progress. Before sending to All Speed, I did several things on my own including the teardown, smoothing the firewall, frame connectors, welding all underbody seams, mini-tubs, front tubular suspension, cut out for the center exhaust, fiberglass nose and front spoiler etc. I even had it primed by a local body shop. I was pretty happy with the way it turned out, but am very excited to give the reins over to All Speed to take it to a whole new level. What started as a mild restoration has turned into a mega-build - I'm sure no one out there can relate!

The engine parts just came in so I will be posting build pics of that later this week.

Very cool project. Nice to see another second gen brought back to life.
For an east coast car that looks like a very solid foundation to start with.
Looking forward to seeing this one happen!

It's going to be killer with the boys at ASP on the job. I can't imagine wanting to mix work and play being in the business but it's definitely unique.
