Just found this build and it is inspiring!
Bought my 67 in 76. Did a frame off in 79
I started my second (more indepth) frame off rebuild in 1984, same year I got married, had my first child, 3 houses 4 kids later I still have it as a roller, in the shop, married budget was always bad, divorced is worse, but It will get done along with the other projects.
Keep posting I love the build, keep us revved up !
You were right, Kids first, Camaro 2nd, good dad !

Thumbs up

Console insert looks good. I am going to try and mock mine up next week and drop it off to get it recovered.

Default still plugging away

All right I’m still plugging away, spent a ton of time working engine stuff over the summer….actually the first year in 10yrs i didn't go to SEMA because i wanted to make some progress, sounds like i missed a good show.

Here are a couple pics showing the fruits of my labor (mostly my cash)…
Front cover on with Oil Pump on the side

Side view

Waiting on push rods and Holley HP kit….then we’ll make some hydrocarbons

Dyno run planned for Tues but likely I’m thinking Wednesday regardless I’ll have it back in my garage for final fit tests for the Thanksgiving weekend.

Your doing a beautiful job on this, and you have some great ideas. The console looks like it's a factory piece. Nice build.

Thanks Wayne, i'm happy the way it turned out and with my new gauges it looks real sharp. i'm going to attemp to hydrodip/hydrograph (what ever you want to call it) myself. bought the "DIY" kit, already tried a sample piece and it seems relatively easy. i'll post some pics of the progress shortly.

Thanks Scott,
Should give eveyone a little back story, Scott and i work together so we're sharing lessons learned as we go. Although i've got a 10yr head start on my project he's making a ton more progress and catching up quickly.
Actually in post #15 those are Scott's wheels and tires, it was great of him to let me fit them to get a handle on what i can fit for my car. how many people do you know would let you trial fit your brand new wheels and tires...they aren't cheap!
