Default Update on my rusty firebird

It's been awhile since I have made any progress on this, but I found some time to work on it this weekend. I got both quarters, roof, and tail panel off. Here are some pics.

Demo day can be fun! Good to see you are going with full quarters!
What brand of sheet metal are you using?

I got a Summit Racing where I live so I've been buying Goodmark and saving on the truck freight.

I got some more done over the past several weeks. The passenger quarter is prepped and fitted, I used this stuff called rust bullet on all the metal surfaces, I started to cut out and fit the trunk floor, passenger drip rail is mounted, and the flanges for the roof are ready to go. It's starting to look like a car again

Looks like things are coming back together. Keep up the good work

Let us know how those repo firebird quarters fit.

Thanks, so far everything seems to be lining up o.k. I guess we'll see when I get the other quarter and trunk lid on

So far it has not been that difficult to line things up. Getting out all the spot welds and prepping the mating surfaces has been a real pain though.
