Hey Wayne. How's it going?
The Summer Nats were ok. I went Friday and Saturday. A lot of the cars there are "stuck" in the 80's. They all have the "old school" Cragar wheels with big tires out back that stick out of the wheel wells. lol I think the only pro-tour car I've seen there was Morgan's '68 convertible Camaro. AND that was last year.
There were some really clean cars there as well though. I hung out with Ben Hermance and his buddy Mike (SSYNISTER), who is also on this site on both days. 2 great guys. You really didn't miss too much. Some great burnouts though.
Are you going to the Custom & Rods show?

It doesn't look familiar. Was it on the hill opposite the burn out pad? I think me and Ben might have seen it?

Nah it was in the courthouse parking lot, I was more of less making fun of my 80's look that you described

Hey guys just got back after being of the site for a bit. Looking to get my 68 running again after 2 years.
Fnquik, that is one good looking ride so far. it must also be one heck of an expensive build too.
Tones i was at the summer Nats and meet Ben a few years agao. His work is incredible. Yea ya know i told my wife you dont see any rides that are of Pro touring quality or of todays style. Lots of nice cars but was disappointed to not see any unique suspensions or engine builds. Crap loads of stangs though.

My wife said no one wants to bring there high dollar builds like on this site because of where it is held. May be true. Tons of mud this year.
FN keep up on the pics i bet it will turn out better than you will ever expect it to.

Your wife is right!!!! There was a lot of mud, because of the rains and the burn outs when they wet the tires/burn out pad.
Yeah, you NEVER see any pro-touring car around here at all. Morgan had his '68 por-tour Camaro last year and won some type of an award. RIGHTFULLY SO!!!

Yes it should be sweet , Mike does some awesome work. Seeing those pictures make me miss it even more. I would love to take it for a ride even in that condition it was a nice car.
