Just when you thought a plan was coming together doing my brake upgrade Chassisworks sends me the old style obsolete SL6R calipers that now don't match the rear ones. The new style has been out for two years now. I even pointed out to them they have the old style in their catalog and was ensured I would not receive the old style. Found the new style part number that is a match with Wilwoods help. Ugh! Waiting for them to swap them out.....if they will call me back that is. Sorry being patient just a little annoyed

Firewall complete...moving on to some bodywork. Car has been stripped. The original quarters need just a bit of work but overall in decent shape. Elected to save them versus aftermarket.

I am working with Ben Hermance on renderings but here are some glimpses of what will be included in the build.

Stripped and epoxy sealed. Originally a vinyl top car we found the typical rust from the window channel location...typical. Car was media blasted and body filler was used. It was holding fine but we will cut this area out and replace to save the OE quarters.
