It is Doug, but it's a little ways from my house. The biggest problem seems to even get it to the correct depot lol.

I'm with you regarding Fed X. Once my package arrived at the local distribution facility, their tracking information said it was out for delivery. It still took 6 days to receive it. The day before it actually got delivered, a Fed X truck pulled into my driveway but left after sitting there for five minutes but did not leave my package. I chased him down the highway and he finally stopped at a traffic light where I jumped out of my truck and confronted him. He did not have the package on his truck even though his manifest said it was. He gave me his dispatcher's number and we had a long discussion about their service. I received the package the next day! Thanks for letting me rant.

For me, FedEx fell off last year when COVID hit and all the closures started. They had my supercharger for the BMW sitting in the next town over for six days. Mind you, this is metro Atlanta which means 5-10 miles away, maybe. I was patient because COVID. While they have gotten better, they're still slow compared to pre-COVID days. Before then, FedEx or UPS was great for me.

You know who's only gotten better in this time? Amazon. I wouldn't be surprised if they start taking third party deliveries in the next few years.

Fedex is excellent, in fact nearly perfect, at every single thing on earth EXCEPT putting me and a package in the same location, the only frikken thing they do! 6 years in my home and not ONCE did they ever successfully deliver a package to my address. Not. Once. Ever.

Wife had a frozen food order show up today from Fedex. Problem is, it was supposed to be here Wednesday, showed out for delivery, never showed. Then it changed to Thursday, showed out for delivery but was put on the wrong truck. It's amazing they can stay in business.
