Default Push Button Start?

Anyone using or know of a dependable push button start system that will work with a first gen Camaro?

Thanks

I'm using Digital Guard Dawg and while it's overall been dependable, having done it, I don't think that i would do another one.

Jeff-
Have the DBW pedal “stick” (issue with my old NW TB) and try to shut down a 1000rwhp car on the highway making a WOT 3rd gear pull. Easier to find the key on the column vs look and aim for a button.

Also while it was setting up there were a few time it didn’t recognize the engine was running and tried to reengage the starter. For the prescribed 3-4s crank time....

Overall. It’s neat. Problems have been sorted now but those times alone I would never want to repeat and will be the reason I likely will never do another one.

I was unhappy with the features of all the options on the market and bought a Switch-Pros SP-9100. I was able to just program everything how I wanted it. It's mostly used by the off-roading community but I think it's great for what we do too.

I have an Ididit Pro-Lite steering column which doesn't support an ignition switch. The SP-9100 has also been great for many other things I wanted to custom program.

I hear you. I have that Advanced Keys setup which is capable of proximity door locks, remote start, push button start, etc. Would be kinda nice to have some of those features but I don’t want the headache of a system that isn’t sorted. Was hoping someone had a positive experience to share.

It would be nice if someone offered a stand alone, a more up-to-date precision keyed unit... the ones I see out there look like replacements for a 70s riding mower. They have a really cheap look and a clunky switch feel.... I guess you could try and dress up the bezel, or hide it all together?
