Default C5 Slave cylinder with t56 magnum

Any one use a OEM C5 slave with the t56 magnum instead of gen 4 with success?
Any difference? will it work? going to be using it with an LS7 clutch. and a OEM Gen 4 Master Cylinder.

You need to run an Fbody pilot bearing AND slave cylinder.

You can certainly try it.... but it isn't going to work.

Remember the factory LS2/7 steel flywheel is one heavy SOB. You may want to run a Fidanza LS2 alum instead if you don't want it to rev like a dump truck.

I have read conflicting opinions. I want to try the LS7 stock package and if I don't like it I could always switch it out for an improvement. At least I could have a before and after feel. Also with a 4;11 gear the heavy clutch might not be that bad.
As for the Slave the only difference is the extended braided line from what I can find from my research. Has anybody tried it?
