Weld is right. That car is perfect for Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale. The stories about politics emanate from two groups:
1) Mostly well-intentioned folk with unrealistic expectations regarding their car's value.
2) Customs that exceed the $200K mark. The rules arre different for those cars. But $145K? It's like the new $80K at Scottsdale.

Barrett Jackson wants to make as much money as possible -- same as you. And in 2013, they showed a real emphasis for quality.

The highest quality, best detailed, fullest featured cars get the best spots. And believe it or not, cars with Twist paddle shifters do very well. Just as important, no one forces you to consign. You get to have an honest conversation in which you compare expectations. If your expectations do not align with Barrett-Jackson's, walk away.

Call me and I'll get you to the right dude. In the meantime, study comps on their website. The comps don't lie.

Oh, and I put your car on my Facebook page. You should ask your other core suppliers to do the same. It's good for you and since it's such a sexy, high visibility machine, its good for them also. Hope it helps.

It's always easy to risk somebody elses time and money. It's a decision you have to come to terms with, regardless of the outcome. I do agree that it could do well due to the build quality and escpecially the interior. It's a fresher car than mine was. Barrett is the only way to get a really big number out of these cars... Just subtract 15% for the real number.

The key to you selling your car outside of Barrett with be patience and reasonable expectations. You'll know you have a real buyer when their first question is about the car, not the price.

That's the whole point: Study the comps (fun/informative) and have the Big Boy conversation before assuming any risk.

Just as soon as I clear up this pimple breakout I'll get right on that...

In the meantime -- bump for a really nicely done car with a reasonable price.

Mark,

Obviously a tremendous build...not many make me want to go back thru the build thread, but this one does.
