Default First Gen Camaro Subframe help

hello everyone just started a first gen Camaro build mines a 68. looking for some opinions on what subframe to go with. Im in between tci and speed tech. DSE is out of my budget at this time. cars mainly going to be a cruiser but want it to be able to handle anything most likely putting a LS in it with about 5-600 hp

Have you looked into the Ridetech components?
I’m struggling with the same decision currently. I have a 69 that will be street driven. I don’t know if an aftermarket subframe is overkill? I am sure that going with a DSE or Art Morrison subframe makes sense for a purpose built car but can it be justified for a cruiser? I have a quote from TCI and there stuff looks nice but can’t find much feedback from people that actually have it or have experience with it. The other things to consider are all the extras that go with each specific system. Headers, oil pans, what front accessory drives work. That adds up quick! I’m excited to see any replies to this thread.

Guys are always removing the stock subs to upgrade to aftermarket. Maybe keep your eyes in the classifieds and find a nice updated stock one cheap.

I wish I would have just bought a aftermarket frame myself.
with a turn one steering box, tubular arms, springs, brakes ,shocks, sway bar,all new components, and powdercoat...
I'm $4000 into a 50 year old frame
