Default Need pic of 245/35/19

Also need 305/35/20. Thinking of using this set for my chevelle but that 245/35/19 might ot have enough sidewall. I would appreciate any help.

The Billy Goat is not a Chevelle, but a GTO, pretty close. It has 245 / 35 / 19 front and 345 / 25 / 20 rear. The rear tires are a full 1 1/2 shorter then the tire your looking at.

See more pics / angles here.

It didn't need to be a Chevelle. I should have pointed that out. I wanted to see the sidewall on that tire. Thank you for the pic. Nice car by the way. How does that Goat ride with such a short sidewall?

Nice Elky. I will ask you the same question. How does that car ride with the short sidewall? Thanks for the pic.

To be honest with you, it doesn't ride too bad. It is a little rough on bad roads but on the highway my car rides like a caddy and is really quiet as far as road noise is concerned.

Let me know if you have other questions.....

Jon, All those pics confirm my fear. There isn't enough sidewall on that 245/35/19. Kentucky roads are bad. I already am worried about bending a wheel.

So that 245/35/19 has a 3.4 sidewall and is 25.8 inches tall. I need some more height in the front so what about a 245/40/19 which equals 3.9 sidewall and 26.7 tall and use that with a 305/35/20 rear which is 4.2 sidewall and 28.4 tall. I know what you are going to say. Nitto doesn't make that size which means I would have to go with an unmatched set which I am ok with as long as it didn't look too weird.

Maybe I will go back to the Foose 71 Chevelle sizes which is a 255/40/19 with 4.0 sidewall and 27.0 tall and a 295/40/20 rear which is 4.6 and 29.3 tall. What do you think about all of this?

Agreed, what was done on the first Overhaulin Chevelle is a nice front tire, with more sidewall, if that is what you are looking for. I kind of like the smaller profile front tire, but we roll around on California roads all day.

What backspacing are the fronts? Do they ever rub?
