Yup, our Goldbelly order was supposed to be delivered three days ago. Just got here an hour ago. Luckily, they're just pies so they should be ok still even if they were supposed to arrive frozen.

So I have 6 packages coming from Fedex for last Friday delivery. None arrived, one went to pending with no delivery date, five showed Saturday delivery. Saturday nothing arrives and 4 now show Sunday delivery, and the fifth is now also pending. Today they show two out for delivery and now a total of 4 are pending with no delivery date.

Jody,

I have the same issues with FedEx here in NC. They delivered a package two days after it was supposed to be next day and the box was torn, taped and was empty. The larger size box should have tipped the driver off that nothing was in it when he picked it up.

I submitted a claim and still waiting two years later. I called the parts company and informed them and asked if I could buy another, but not to send FedEx. This company sent me a new part free of charge and told me this was the last straw for them and they were cancelling their dealings with FedEx.

good luck!

Jody, doesn’t seem possible, but I’m 98.6% sure that the same FedEx person covers both Wilton Ca, and Dawsonville Ga.

My Chevelle is old school... It has a belt driven power steering pump.

Adding fuel to the fire, apparently FedEx lost the package shelf for my Le Mans...it was shipping direct from Goodmark, and somehow got lost on the way to Atlanta, and of course they didn't bother to tell anyone. I had ordered it through Summit, ended up having to call Goodmark to confirm what happened and they were kind enough to send out another one which eventually made it to the body shop.

Now, how you lose a box that big is beyond me but then again I'm not surprised given the reputation at the Ellenwood facility...

Fed Ex somehow lost a full size table.

Tracking progress showed it was just down the road from me. Poof! After 2 weeks Amazon finally sent another. It was like pulling teeth. I could understand misplacing a small package, but not a large table.

They've continued on their record with me, 15 of the last 16 shipments 3-7 days late with travel and tracking info that makes no sense.

I've read that FedEx's business model is such that their Ground and Home Delivery drivers are essentially independent contractors. This could be a major reason for the poor tracking & service.

It ain't just Fed-Ex.
I sent a first class certified letter from my local post office in Minnesota to Winter Park, Florida on September 27th. Certified mail charge was $4.33. It was estimated to be delivered on 10/1. On 10/1 the USPS website said there was a delay and it would be late. It kept that same message for 2 weeks. When I registered a complaint on the 15th, a person called me from the Winter Park P.O. within 2 hours. He told me it had been delivered many days ago. I asked how he knew that. He said because it had been delivered to the wrong address and when the postman corrected the delivery, it won't show on their tracking. (What a crock). I asked again how I can be assured it had been delivered. He said the postman told him so. (A bigger crock).
I finally gave up because I knew they had no clue and just wanted to clear the delivery complaint. Luckily it was just a letter, not anything important or a legal document.
That's how it is folks. When something, most anything, goes as expected, it is a fortunate day.
This used to be a great country....

First class mail is completely jacked up. It is now Worst class mail. Priority mail is still pretty good but first class is broken and won’t be fixed anytime soon since they have decided it can be even slower and go on trucks instead of airplanes. Don’t use it for anything.
