Default HOLOHAN'S HOT ROD SHOP - North Carolina

Hey Guy's,
I am new to Lateral-G but famliar with the forum and just wanted to introduce myself to everyone and also give some background about myself and some info about my new shop that I will be starting in Jan. of 2010.
My name is Dan Holohan, originally from Illinois but now reside with my family here in Mooresville, NC.
I previosuly worked at Rad Rides as shop manager/fabricator for 5 years
and most recently at DSE as lead project fabricator for 2 1/2 years until my departure from there in September of this year.
Here are some of the project's that I have been involved in through the years while at Rad Rides and DSE.
At Rad Rides, I was involved in the major fab on Glenn Grozich's 62' Chevy twin turbo "Chicayne" and Joe Rogan's 70' Cuda "Sick Fish" which was featured in Team Killeen's Build Book #1, along with the 69' Camaro Top Sportsmen drag car ( in the book Art of the Hot Rod), the 63' spilt window Vette "Split Second" and also doing fab work on George Poteet's "BlowFish", the 61' Cadillac convertible Cad Attack, Ritzow's 32' and the 07' Ridler winning 36' Ford "First Love".
At DSE I was involved in the fab and assembly work on Dale Jr's 2nd Gen, most recently completed Jason Stavola's 69', Chandler's 55', Poteet's FireBird and Stuart Adam's 69' Camaro.
Currently I am now in the process of setting up my own shop here in Mooresville and will be ready to roll in late January of 2010.
My shop is well equiped with a variety of all the necessary sheetmetal equipment inside a nice, well lit 2000 sq/ft shop with 12'
ceilings and a 2 post lift.
I will be working solo to begin with and will be specializing in custom sheetmetal design/fab work ( engine bays, spoiler's, dashes, counsoles bumper work, etc.) for street machines and hot rod's along with custom header/exhaust design and fab.
Along with doing custom work, I will also be taking on basic fab work as well, i.e. mini-tubs, sub-frame connectors, roll cages, etc.
Even though I will be running solo for awhile, I do have a list of reliable resources that I will be using for turn key builds.
I look forward in getting involved with everyone here and will be occasionally posting as time goes on.
I am currently in the process of developing ad info and a small splash website in order to give a little more info about the shop
