Default Hotchkis Spring Help

I have a set of Hotchkis 2" lowering springs and 2" DSE leafs but the frount is higher then the rear. I need to know where to cut the coil spring to give me around 1" more of a drop. Has anyone done this to Hotchkis springs before? I read a few posts (on other forms) from others that had to do this to drop the frount down lower because it wasnt as low as the back. Im not sure where to cut them, cuz the ends of the spring look like they smush close together.

Thanks!

-BRIAN
