Jeff...... Looks like you are moving right along, and doing beautiful work as always! What oil pan do you use with your DSE/LS set-up? I'm ready to launch my next build and I'm getting all my "stuff" put together. I know there are a few choices that will work, just thought I would ask....
Thanks, Dave

Hello Dave,My last car had an F body oil pan but I also had DSE mounts that set back 1.5".My LS9 has a corvette pan but I have not installed it yet to see how it works. You are running an LSA this time aren't you?Have you talked with DSE about it yet, they are very helpful.

Jeff, Thanks for the input, on my current build (70 Camaro) I am running all DSE equipment, including their frame/engine mounts, which on a second gen, move the motor back 1". The stock pan on the LSA wont work. DSE does list the "F-body" pan as a part that will work. I was just curious if I was missing some advantage to running a MAST or Holley piece?? I can get the GM stuff super cheap through a friend at a dealership...so that is probably the direction I'm heading.
Keep up the good work!
Dave

Spent some time welding several holes up in the core support and inner fenders and put a new firewall in, this is the new firewall that Dynacorn is now making, got it and other parts in black primer for now.

They have had that piece out for awhile, first time I have seen anyone use it. How do you like it? Is it an overlay or cust the old out and weld this one in?
