Default Holley mid mout acc drive

looking at getting the holley mid mount LS acc drive kit for my LS3. i also see they sell a premium kit for another 600 dollars. Is the premium kit worth that much more? and what extras come with for that price? any help would be much appreciated.

Thumbs up

I've been looking at those kits too. The biggest difference between the kits is the SFI damper and billet pulleys. There is also a cover for the tensioner.

If you already have an aftermarket damper, then the cheaper kit is the way to go. If not, it's a nice upgrade, plus you get a few dress up items.

Either way, they are both great kits.

If you are thinking about using another dampener, you might want to check with Holley first. I thought the mid mount is the same spacing as the F-body drive.

I just put the mid-mount accessory drive on the wet sump LS7 I'm building for my Nova. I purchased the premium model in black. I went for premium model, largely for the ATI Damper, which I needed anyway. I really like how compact the unit is and the lack of brackets. I won't have it in the car for a while, but so far have been impressed with quality and fitment.

I put the mid mount premium kit on my LS3 and it was worth every penny. In the long run, you're money ahead buying the premium kit b/c there won't be any pulley alignment issues and the ATI damper is a great product. Mine installed perfectly and runs with no issues. I got the Black version...
