Default Steel 4" cowl bonnet

I was looking on ebay, and came across steel 4" cowl bonnet for first gen camaro. Anyone fitted one of these yet? are they a better fit then the glass ones? I think they were made by goodmark, and i've not heard a lot of positive things about their quality of their panels etc.

I dont wanna run a glass bonnet, apparently they are a bit weak around the hinge areas. So i was going to steer towards a 2" cowl steel bonnet. Then i seen the 4" steel. What should i do? I currently have a factory SS bonnet on the car.

I don't know who makes them or about the quality but if your induction sysytem fits under a flat hood or a 2" cowl, why get a 4" unit?
IMO, They look best on a Street Car Shootout style car with 31" tall wrinkle wall tires and a pro stock wing off the trunk. Those guys need them to clear a big single plane intake, a couple nitrous plates and a Dominator carb. Even the guys on this list would probably admit they would have a smaller scoop if their induction systems fit under one.
Just my $.02 worth...
