I have not. You are right though, it never hurts to ask. But my brother and I also want to keep realistic goals and budget. I remember reading here or PT their going rate just for body work. I don't think they would feel comfortable standing behind the repair work unless they do the whole car. The issue is they do AWESOME work, but that's not what we need for this car. Even my untrained eye saw there were a couple issues with the current paint prep and my brother is really not looking to open a can of worms. If he was going to do a complete repaint I would even tell him to go that direction. I hope I'm not coming across as a jerk, that is not my intention. I am grateful for the info, but just don't want to waste their time asking. I guess, a better question would be who knows a good collision repair shop that you would take your everyday Toyota, Ford, Chevy to?
