Default Project Dullboy

Hey guys. Im not a new member here but I've been lurking and posting in here and there. I'm thinking its officially time for a project build thread. As the saying goes, "All work and no play makes me a dull boy.". After owning the car for years its been through a lot of changes, stages and swaps. I paint cars for a living and do a lot of side work on the weekends. sometimes i i feel like im burnt out on working on cars from messing with them all day and I just want to be able to enjoy my camaro. This time is the last time around! All work and no play has made me a dullboy. So I've officially named my project "Dullboy".

-Yet another red 69 camaro!!
Drive train
-6.0L/cam/springs/pushrods/rodbolts
-Edlebrock performer rpm intake
-Speed demon 750 carb
-MSD6010 ingnition box

-4L80E(stock for now) eventually i will get a converter and shift kit
-TCI controller with paddle shifter(still need to buy)
- Ford 8.8 rear/373's/ girdle/ axles (needs to be installed)

Front Suspension
- Speed-tech upper and lower A-arms
- Hotchkiss 1-1/8 hollow sway bar
- QA1 12 way shocks
- 650LB springs with ajustable cups

Rear Suspension
- currently looking at some cat 5 springs. im really torn between them or a g-link
- QA1's(eventually)

Chassis
-Iroc steering box
-half height solid bushings
-integrated subframe connectors
-carshop 1" set back plates
-8point cage (near future)

Brakes
- Willwood 7/8's manual master
- 12" LS1 brakes for the front
- Slotted and cross drilled rotors
- 12 inch cobra rears(eventually)
- Slotted and cross drilled rotors(eventually)
-EBC red stuff pads (eventually)

Body
-custom adjustable spoiler
-shaved rear panel
-smoothed bumpers
-front splitter
-shaved wipers

I find a lot of these builds to be rather intimidating budget-wise but i always try to make to due. Best bang for the buck is what i strive for. Ill try to find some time and post up a lot of pics and procedures i went through. Im about half done with it now and really hope to cruise it around feb/march, although it will prolly be more like next december! I better get back to work!
