Default Project quick fix..:)

Starting this thread about doing a mini-restore/ detail on the '72 Trans AM I just picked up. It was a original paint car with all original panels that had been basically sanded and sprayed. The car looked great but when I got it up on the lift, I could see it had a lot of clear sprayed on it and it had a lot of runs that someone tried to wet sand out. On a white car, it's not as bad and you couldn't see it in the sun. This car is way to rare and too nice not to have a really nice paint done. I took it over to Eric on Monday, he started to pull it apart. My plans are to detail the engine compartment, a/c box and undercarriage. We are installing DSE rear leafs, QA1 front coilovers, Doug's headers and Year One wheels. I'm hoping to have it all done in about 3 weeks.. I'll keep you guys updated..

Monday morning..

I was able to take a quick look at the car tonight at the shop. Looks like a solid one you found there, and will make a nice addition to the stable.

I wanted one just like this in highschool, more than anything. Yes, even that thing that is always on a teenage boy's mind...
