I've done several HPDE weekends there and that seems like "ludicrous speed". If I go there again it'll seem like slow motion.

Watching F1 is almost seeing a dream or fake image it's so incredible.

Saw a Jeremy Clarkson vid on Top Gear where he tried to drive on of these. He couldn't keep enough heat in the tires to drive it without stalling, and couldn't keep the tires hot enough when he did manage to take off. Finally when he got it going he did a few laps got out with a very sore neck

That was Richard Hammond, Mike. I learned you have to warm the engine up before it can even turn over to crank from that segment.

This video is incredible. The sound was amazing!
