Default 1st love.

Ive had this car since i was 15 (i paid for a hefty portion) Im 23 now. Its my pride and joy and my biggest heart breaker. Im at a point in my life where i finally have some knowledge and capabilties and its time to build a street monster. With the help of yall of course. i began stripping the wires out last night. Attempting a wire tuck and cleaning up the engine bay first. Then on to the steering column hub and wheel. and decide if its time to move to a rack and pinion or stick with the DSE steering box. (mines has a decent amount of play in the steering wheel while driving down straight roads. feels great in turns though.) Thanks ahead of time yall.

I was at work and completely forgot the details of my car. Here ya go. 1969 Camaro. red with black stripes. 10 point roll cage. M21. 383 stroker. Moser 10 bolt. Stock rims :/ soon to be changed. DSE steering box. Painless wiring harness ordered. Doing the best I can with the baby budget I have.

pretty much what he said. Welcome and post some pictures.

You can go a long way on a reasonable budget with that car. For starters I'd stick with your DSE box. Check the idler arm and tie rod ends I bet something else in the steering needs attention.
