Default 67 Camaro Barn find/what's it's worth????

A buddy and I were in Wisconsin a while back and stumbled across this beauty! I was able to find out who the owner was, but want to know what a fair offer would be, either from me to him/him to me. The last time this was licensed was 1987, so I assume that it has been in hiding for 20+ years. I know nothing about the car other than what is in the pictures.

I'd say you're at least 1500 high, judging by eBay sales this year...

I'd say $2000-$2500 in that condition would be fair to both parties, lot's of work to be done there...

What does scrap metal bring by the pound nowadays? Start with something nicer!

That is kind of what I thought as well...I was thinking $1500 - $1800 would be resonable, but i wanted to get some others thoughts

a guy once told me it's worth whatever you'll pay for it if you want it.

Not sure on the price, but I grew up in Wisconsin and by the mid 80's everything was rotted out. Be very careful and check all the structural items. I lived there till '94 and up till that time they just poured pure salt on the roads anytime there was snow and ice--about 9 months a year

Nice find but check it out.

You must have lived somewhere near the bigger cities. Here in Lake Country we dump sand, not salt. Been that way as long as I can remember.

To the OP- not sure what barn find that town is in but man Id be looking for something a little nicer to start with. If it was a Z or heavy optioned car then maybe.

Thanks to all who have provided their thoughts and opinions on the car and it's value. To be honest, this would be my first car, and while it would be awesome to have a heavily optioned car, or even a 67 Z28, I am not looking to build a $75K car.

ASSUMING that the car is solid, with little to no rust (big assumption, I know) does that change anyone's opinion in what it is worth?
