Background:
This car has appeared on Lat G before as a
featured car. Please see that link for details of the original build, completed in 2010. Back then, the car was a state of the art build, and I enjoyed the heck out of it for six years, running extensively in HPDE on the West Coast. Late in 2016 I blew the engine on the back straight at Thunderhill, and decided to upgrade the car to the latest tech, with Mark Stielow's Hellfire build as my model. Over the next year or so we got it most of the way completed, then life intervened. Between job, family health issues, and a new obsession with
amateur road racing, the build got put on the back burner and stayed there. At this point, I'm unlikely to ever get it done, so it falls to one of you to get it there. Make it into the multi purpose street/track/OUSCI machine it was intended to be.
