Cool

That car is sick!!! My first hot rod was an 87 Cutty. I couldn't afford insurance on a sports car because I had just started driving, so I built up a 350 from an 84 Vette and threw it in there with a Built Th350. NYPD just loved me cruising the streets of brooklyn in that beast. It's nice to see people are still doing these up.

Nice lookin' ride too! I had an '86 442 as a driver for a while. Loved that car! Right up until the lady ran the light and totaled it anyway!

What are you rinning for a tranny? Also, what sort of fuel milage do you get in it with the LS swap?

==========================================

I had a 86 Cutlass about 15 years ago, and we took a 73 Olds 455 put some good heads on it and made it look exactly like the V8 that cam out of it. The intake was a duel plane Offy. We ground all the id off of it and painted it the same color as well. The only difference was that the 455 was about 1 1/2 inches wider, but if you weren't looking closely you would never tell the difference. We even had the smog air pump put on. We emptied it out and just ran the hoses. We put the smog trees onto the stock exhaust manifolds and it was pretty believable. Sure did surprise a lot of 5.0 Mustangs.

Even when they looked under the hood they would just scratch their head in disbelief.

It was a pretty good sleeper.
