Default 1969 Camaro RS Convertible

Hi everyone !! Great site I discovered a while back . Nice reads with some amazing builds. I have always liked the 1gen. Camaro's . Here is my latest purchase I will be getting soon. I think I payed a little much for it but it's got great potential from my view point anyway. Body looks nice but needs floor pan. Anyway I'm not sure what route I'm wanting to take with it but I'm leaning towards pro-tour powered by an LS engine & manual 6sp. Trans.
Any thoughts would be appreciated

Welcome.

Are you going to do the work yourself, or do you have a shop in mind?

Lot's of great help/experience here, just ask questions.

I'm not to experienced with building these cars like some on here especially with the sheet metal work & paint. But I'm just in the beginning stages so I will see what happens.

Welcome to the site. Neat car, I really like the RS front appearance. If it needs floors and you don't feel qualified then find a shop that you trust (check them out on the BBB site and just Google them for reviews on their work) and then talk to them about time and cost to do the floor. I say this only because on a car like the Camaro, the floor is part of the vehicle structure and if it's marginal then your safety is at risk. Not trying to discourage you, just saying that I am sure you value your life more than the car. But if you read enough of the builds here you'll see that floors, roof, entire cars have been saved. So just make sure your stay safe as you go forward on your project.

Can't go wrong with the LS/T-56 swap... Except on your bank account! I'll be going the same route myself, one day. Look forward to seeing where you go with it!
