Default C7 Hub

Sorry if this has been talked about before, I searched and couldn’t find the answer I was looking for.

I have a DSE Aluma-Frame with Ford 5x4-1/2 bolt pattern. I’m gonna switch to a GM bolt pattern.

Are the C6 and C7 hub assemblies the exact same dimensions? Does anyone have the part# for the SKF C7 hub assembly?

Thanks

Here's some info on it. Looks like it would work if the spindle is a factory one.

Yes they are. I have a set of C7 hubs in a set of C6 spindles.

Unfortunately, the C7 and SKF hubs won't work on a ATS spindle because the hub flange has more material making it impossible to put the nut on the lower mounting stud that ATS spindles use. I've been told (but haven't confirmed) that Speedtech can do the necessary machine work to put a C7 hub on an ATS spindle.

Thanks Jody.

I was reading that one yesterday. It doesn’t give me conformation. I was hoping to get some confirmation if the C7 will work with DSE spindle.

Let's ask Mark. Sent him an email.

Though SKF is the OEM, the ACDELCO, Timken, and top-tier offerings are likely made by SKF. Mine are Timken boxed but SKF parts (the bearing world is very incestuous.) Nothing to be worried about here as there is likely only one OEM and aftermarket supplier for the major brands. There's not enough volume to justify dual manufacturing channels.

Run away from WJB and other knock-off brands.
