Been busy on the car and almost done with interior. The only thing left for first drive is to finish up the brake lines, which I am hoping to do this weekend. Walkaround video below!

A few minor updates. I blew a seal on my lift so that slowed me down a bit. I should have it back working today and hope to finish up the brake lines, get them bled and drive this thing for the first time this weekend. Outside of that its interior and glass that needs to be finished.

I ordered a sheet of Carbon Fiber and made a panel for the firewall. From the engine bay when you look at the firewall where the steering column comes out, you will see carbon fiber. Came out pretty good and looks better than the factory option.

Finished up installing the DEI undercarpet lite and the TMI interior carpet. The relief cuts around the shifter will be covered up by a center console I am having made

More interior shots. The only thing left on interior is wrapping the kick panels, wrapping the package tray and having the rear seats done. I have already modified the rear seat frames to clear minitubs. I will likely wait until I can drive and drop the car off at the upholstery shop to finish rear seats.

Clayton Machine interior door handles to match the shifter

And last up...I have all of the door and quarter glass installed as well as the window channels. This has been my least favorite part of the whole build. Even with all new rollers and channels the windows on these cars are just sloppy. I am slowly getting them dialed in, but there is just too much slack in the mechanisms that makes it really tough to get them dialed in. I also have power windows which makes it hard to make small adjustments. I have just had to tell myself they are not going to seal perfectly.

In addition, its apparently a known issue that repop rear quarters have a smaller than ideal window channel opening. In other words, the opening where the window goes down into is too narrow between the inner and outer quarter panel. With the interior panel on and the outside door fuzzies on, the window barely moves due to the opening being about 1/8" too narrow.

Anyway..rant over lol

Worked on the brakes for 12 hours today only to find out that my 400 dollar junk of aluminum Baer Remaster MC is leaking out the back. Not impressed with anything I have bought from those guys, especially considering the premium they ask for their stuff.

That was supposed to say hunk and I guess it autocorrected, but junk is about how I feel about it. I guess I will call Baer Monday and ask how a brand new MC can leak.

Sorry to rant. I’m just burned out and ready to finish this thing.
