Default Travis' Green & Bronze C10

Check out this upcoming C10 build by Travis, who's building his '71 short bed C10 truck to match his pristine Pro Touring '68 Camaro. The Camaro has gray wheels and fully blacked out grill but through the rendering we did some playing around with different wheel and trim colors and ended up with this as the final direction the build will head. This one will be more of a street cruiser and driver so he can spend more serious play time in the Camaro.

If you need some help finalizing your vision for your project shoot me a PM and let's get your rendering on the schedule too!

Thanks and agreed. I had a street strip Nova I considered converting to a pro touring car but since I was already dedicated to my wagon I sold it for wagon funds. One of the coolest things about it was it's factory green color. I did a quick rendering to play with stripe design and this is what I had decided upon...

Yep. It's slightly different but we've all see so many Yenkos now, I figured I'd play off Baldwin instead.

I figured Trogdor was a green dragon that terrorized everyone so why not have a Nova that terrorizes the competition, right? I just left off the consummate V's. lol.

I should have, but at the time I just couldn't (nor could my wallet) justify having 2 pro touring cars. My Pumkinator Cutlass G-body wagon really means a lot to me so eventually selling the Nova didn't hurt as bad.

At one point I thought of keeping it as a nostalgic style strip car but since I started autocrossing I just don't feel the need to have a 1/4 mile car anymore. (no surprise there, right?)

Since then I picked up 2 more G-bodies to turn into Pro Touring cars, another 79 Cutlass wagon and an 86 Pontiac Bonneville. I bought the Bonneville to prove 4 doors can be Bad A, and to make it a car I could drive anywhere and haul the family around in it. It was REALLY cheap to buy too. It'll get a warmed over 400 SBC this year and my daughter will autocross it. I'm hoping it'll be ready for Good Guys in Salt Lake City in May.

The 2nd Cutlass wagon dropped into my lap and will get an LS mill next year. Then I'll have two wagons to autocross, Mad Wagon will be more street friendly than Pumkinator, and can go to LS Fest West.

Finally, I have another 73 Nova in storage that's been very patiently waiting since 2001 for me to retire, get rid of every other car, do a full frame out restomod, and sit next to it in a lawn chair with my jean shorts and New balance sneakers.

I sold the 74 Nova roller to a friend that really wanted it, but I kept the engine that helped the Nova run mid 11s on it's own power. Guess where that engine is now?

2. Pumkinator's Nova donor engine
3. Bruiserville- 86 Pontiac Bonneville concept
4. Mad Wagon II, The next Cutlass wagon build
5. Tangermean, the 73 Nova in back burner project jail
