Default New section, a place for race cars and pro-street

Obviously, this site is geared for g-machines, but I think we all enjoy seeing bad ass cars, no matter what style they are. Do you have a race car? (drag, road race, oval, dirt) Do you have a pro-street car? Lets see them, post up some pics.

Question cool someplace to put my other rides

I have two circle track cars that I drive (one asphalt and one dirt) and three that I crew chief on.
I will post some pics soon. BTW two of them are figure-8 cars
But for now I have a question... has any body had experience with the mid 70s chevelle chassis, mainly the front end?

I have some room for playing with the rules, but not much. It has to be stock gm spindles and control arms, but not for that frame. I am looking for swaps like camaro spindles and such to improve the geometry.

Any body got some ideas? I run that car on a high bank 1/2 mile asphalt, similar to Bristol. The rear setup is already done with the stock four-link re-engineered to an extreme!

Thanks, Jr

Default newbie here...

Yea I’ve been lurking on this site for that last couple of months. I'm happy you made a place for me.

My next project will be taking my Monte to the streets. It's already friendly on the streets, but now I want that "Street Fighter" look. Oh yea, it will defiantly have the HP to be a top contender. There are just a few things I like to change. Obviously the wheel/tire combo will be first. Second, better gas mileage, may switch to EFI or I can put a smaller carb for now. And last change the suspension a little, stiffer springs and shocks.
I love the modern look in a classic!
