Default "Blue" intro/update 71 C10

Hey guys!

I have been a member here for quite some time, reading and enjoying all of the builds! I am in the process of looking for my next project, a 69 Camaro. It's not like there were enough on here already!

Meanwhile I thought I would show my current project, a 71 C10 I have had since high school. This was my first car(truck) and my dad and I restored it way back then(98-99). Blue has gone through a few changes in the last 12 years or so but about a year ago I thought it was due for a little more...

I tore apart my perfectly running driver and made a list of whats to come and here was the plan:

Porterbuilt Dropmemebers Front and Rear
Rebuilt 6.0 with custom cam/Ls2 intake
4L60E with yank ss3600
new air management
Kore3 14"/13" C5 brakes and Wilwood Master
20/22 Rushforth Rated-X's
New interior
Repainted Firewall
And more...

So here is what I started with and some work along the way. Also a nice little rendering by Jason Rushforth.

Jason

Here is where I am at now. Body is back on the frame, Motor/Tranny are in, and brakes are on/plumbed. Fuel system is also in/plumbed. I ordered the wheels and things should be progressing pretty quick now!

Love it! What do you expect to have for a ride height?
