Default Flush Mount glass kits...who's in?

We have kicked around the idea for the last year on making flush mount glass kits. I need to know what cars you guys think would be a big hit and or what car you would buy one for and what price point do you think we can sell these at.

The last guy making them was trying to get $1999 for a set of front and rear glass and I think that is too high so what do you guys think we can sell them for. We dont want to break the bank but we need to be able to make a little bit of money on these kits so we can make different kits for other applications.

You thoughts?

Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated.

Chris, of course you know the usual suspect will sell...67-69 Camaro. But, I would love to see a set made for the 70-72 Chevelle. I have a 72 Chevelle and yes, I'd definitely buy them from you. Just as I did the door panels and the door jamb vents.

Chris as long as it is quality I think $600-800 a piece would work? Not sure what your cost on a project like this is. I know the more you buy have built the more your cost come down.

My vote 1st Gen, 2nd Gen and Mustangs, 65-70?? Depending on cost could you offer a one off custom application? If you set the lead time and the supplier can hit that time then I would think you would get a lot takers on the more obscure models? I need a windshield for my 2nd gen and have thought of flush mounting my glass so I might be in for a set for my 73??

To get them under $1200 a set would be huge and would sell much better. Also making them with or without rubber reveals.

Do you have any pictures of exactly what you are referring to?

At around $1200 a set I would definitely be in for a set for my 70 Camaro

Me and my painter have kicked this idea around the shop a couple of times. Would the rubber surround on the glass keep water out of the channel, therefore eliminating possible future rust? If so, that's worth it's weight in gold!
