Default fender flares?

anybody still into them? seriously thinking about doing it. what are your thoughts on a wagon? personally i like the stance a car has w/ them, looks wider than normal but never seen them on a nova wagon.

I always though a 62-64 Post car would look killer w/some cool flares. Kind of like the American version of the boxy old Datsun 510's.

Agreed if that's the style of flare you're interested in. I don't care if it's a fad, if done right, I like flares. I typically prefer to hide the hardware, but on the right car the hardware is appropriate.

The hardware ties to the build style for me. Some look better w/no visible hardware while others look good. I guess it's also very much a personal/subjective thing as well.

I've been trying to picture a g-body Malibu w/some.

I'd like to run wider rubber. Not as wide as this image but it represents the ride height desired. While others have fit 9.5's up front, 9"-10's up front w/o having to raise the car so the tires clear during articulation would require tweaking the openings.

I built some for my falcon. Tried to incorporate the original look so once I repaint it they will look nearly stock.
