Wow...if you lose that's gonna be a huge bill for some on air advertisement; considering their on a channel that doesn't get a lot of traffic to begin with. Are you sure you want to do this? If you lose the car can you write it off as a business expense?

Curious as to why you're building a pt style car for a drag race? Do you plan on attemting 10's on 18's?

Good luck, and let us know when the episode will be on, .

Why build a pt style car??? cuz anyone can bring a drag car to a drag race.
guys are running 7's on drag radials so that should be fast enough.

Ok, was just curious. I know cars run quick on drag radials, but those are 15's, not 18's. 10's on 18's might be a first.

It's going to get interesting... they have totaly changed the format and it sounds like it could actually be some very intense racing, they want the cars to be very close in ET and they are not going to put up wiht as much BS
i guess we will see.

That one "technical advisor" on the show annoys me more then the host. The kid that was a contestant on one of the earlier shows. Dude thinks he knows everything.

On the last episode he said, "you know my motto, blow the pistons through the hood." What an idiot.

A total change in format could only improve the show. Up til now, the racing and cars have been secondary to the "negotiations" which largely consist of "he lifted so we should get 18 car lengths." Let us know if the show is on the level, or if you're required to sign some sort of confidentiality agreement that prevents you from discussing what really went on.
