Default 265/17 & up Auto-X tires???

What tires are you guys running on your cars that use 265 and up section width on 17" rims???

Right now I have 265/40ZR17 up front and 275/40ZR17 out back. . .I need to put new tires on, but I'm having trouble finding Auto-X tires (200 treadwear). . .I've been looking at BFGoodrich g-Force Rival S, Bridgestone Potenza RE-11, Kumho Ecsta V720, and Dunlop Direzza II Star Spec with no luck.

Thanks for the help.

Compound and construction > size stamped on sidewall.

Rival S or RE71r in 255/40-17.

What wheel widths?

I believe they are 17 x 9.5". . .could be 9", but I think they are 9.5".

Good luck in your search. After months of searching, I'm finding out that the 17" wheels are making it very difficult to find these tires. I ended up going with the Continental ExtremeContacts, which are at 340 rating, for non auto-X driving. May have to go to a staggered setup with 18" on rear for a better selection of 200 rated.

Falken 615k is available in a 275/40R17. It may not be the very fastest tire, but they are very good and have decent street maners.

Thanks guys. . .these 17" wheels are only supposed to be temporary. . .

. . .I found them on Craigslist for a deal that couldn't be passed up and they allowed me to get rid of the 15" wheels that were on the car and allowed for a very robust disc brake set-up.

18" wheels all around is the goal.
