Default Pro Touring on 17" wheels ???

I am back again with my wheel dilemma, I have provided the link to my original question.

https://lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=49424

I am curious about the availability of tires in the 17" range, and how long I my be able to get them. I know that is a open ended question that really requires an answer from all the big manufacturers.

In my search for the right wheels and tires for my project,

https://lateral-g.net/forums/show...ghlight=torino

I am seeing all the car manufacturers going to 20" wheels. I actually would like 19" but no one makes a steel wheel in that size that will take a dog dish.

I really like the dog dish look and mine will only fit one 17" wheel made by "Wheel Vintiques".

I am open to opinion since I haven't bought anything yet. Should I go with 19's and the proper offset or chance the 17" tires will be available when I need a new set after 30K miles.

Thanks, Joe

There are enough cars out there running 17's that will need replacements - I think we are safe

Thanks, that actually makes sense. I guess there is no need to worry.
