Default Fesler flush mount glass

Anyone recently bought their late 2nd gen fbody (75-81) flush mount glass? It took them literally years to get in stock. Now it shows as in stock without any sort of caveats, but I'm very skeptical that it actually is. I'm not worried about the quality. I've been super impressed every time I see it. It's just the question of whether I'll actually get it or not that scares me!

Recently Salvage to savage on YouTube were trying to install a flush mount glass of theirs on a Chevelle. The quality was poor and the fitment as well. They ended up using factory glass to do the flush mount and just fabricated around the body to make the factory glass fit. Good thing about that is you can always get a $200 glass if you get a crack.

I wouldn't say that if I were you. You'll more than likely get it if it say's in stock. I'd be far more worried about the quality of it.

Does any "regular guy" have these? I've seen 2-3 sets in magazine-featured high end builds, but I've not seen anyone online or in forums discussing the use of the glass. There have been a few who've used the glass on the early 70-73 2nd gen Camaros. These do not have the rear warp-around window. They're different.

I'd think the magazine, high end builds would NOT necessarily be representative of what the average guy would get for quality being that fedler would probably work very closely with pilkington to make sure the quality was perfect on such high profile builds.

Where are all these sets of glass going? If they're really selling them I can't believe none of them have shown up on any of these internet forums.

I'm sure a lot of guys have them...still in the box...for a home build that is taking 10 or more years to get done.

There is a well known member here who used it on his first gen , broke the glass on install later said he would never go back that route , ive been following S2S build of their chevelle. Funny to see them using stock glass because I've wondered about do this myself using stock glass . I absolutely can not justify spending 1500 on glass that is ..what maybe 1/4 " wider and 1/4" taller

Im doing flush glass on my '70 Coronet.

We have world class glass maker here in Finland. Has made many world class custom car glasses even to the States. Kuttilan autolasi Oy-company, been making car glasses past 50 years..

I asked front and back glass from him. He sad that glass is cutted over a die. So if I drovide him dimenssions he can cut the glass oversize same as the stock one. No big deal.

I didnt fill opening, I just made new pieces with Pullmax.

Same as he will make me new door glass, full glass like in e-body Challenger but for my b-body. Without vent window and frame. Those are more triky because I want them to be heat threaded. Hardened.

EDIT: I didnt know they where in IG:
Link show a post with few custom molds they have in warehouse.

I got the early setup. 70 glass front and back from them.
I was really curious on fit. Finally got it all fitted. I got one corner in back I am going to have to clearance like 1/8. 1/8 in on bottom left corner for like <2 inches? right after the trunk panel. Front is test fitting up fine.
About to go into cutting out some and refitting that part to make it work. Its just a small section and I can fit it in I think not a huge deal. would have been nice if it fit right out of box.
