2nd Chance Camaro 2.0 - Cleaning Up the AAW Harness
2019 07-02 Update - Cleaning Up the AAW Harness

Okay now it's time for an actually update.

Reposting this pictures JIC we all forgot what the plan was.

Remove this junction block as it is not needed and it has to go. It's as simple as cutting and joining them back together.

I separated all of the wire so they all had there own Tech-Flex wrap and also shortened them as needed.

Don't worry I twisted these together just so i could get the lengths correct.

Man it sure would be nice if my table was a little bigger.

Left side is finally separated

Need to look at the wiring diagram to see where these wire go as the were not wired to anything in the car.

Yes I have issue and one of them is working in a somewhat clean & organized environment.

First set of wire wrapped in the Tech Flex loom.

Over the years I have learned a few things. Twist Ties, Wire Nuts and a good pair of wire strippers make big jobs easier.

I use the twist ties to keep all of the wires together that terminate at a common plug and wire nut keep the harness from flopping around on your work bench while you are soldering.

I pretty sure I have had these blue wire nuts for 30 years.

So I couldn't find my alligator clip thing for holding the wire so i found a new use for my vise grips.

I staggered all of the unions so I didn't have all the bulk in the center of the harness.

Everything is officially joined and resting on the floor.
