Default August art contest theme...

Well we've covered wagons and El Caminos, so I thought I'd roll with the utility theme for just one more month. Plain and simple, post up a truck. I recommend sticking with a PT theme but we're open to anything, just gotta be a truck.

Some inspiration...

Posting will be on August 7 & 8th. Pull out the mice and markers and let's see what you got!

Default How about this?

This is the plans for my 1970 Ford F-100 and since its a tuck theme I would add this here. For a clean appearance the truck is fully shaved, the roof line is lowered 1-inch and the upper back section is angled forward a ten degrees. The custom built grill accents the front, while the truck sits with a raked muscle car stance with a custom fully boxed frame, Coy's C-5 18-inch/ 20-inch wheel combination. Under the hood drop in a Ford Racing Cobra Jet 460 for the horsepower to match the attitude.

Here's my entry for this month. I've wanted to build this since I saw a sweet 68 Burban in a 4x4 mag back in '92. Only thing is I thought the roof line was too high on these trucks. Always liked the fact that you can pull the top off a Blazer, but they're too small for my family of 4 kids. So what better to cruise in that a topless Suburban. 502 Ramjet crate motor, 4L60E, 20" rims, Bags, and top down seating for 7. Pile the kids in, throw your hats on and go cruisin' off into the sunset. Enjoy...
