Default Hood latch options

I won't be able to use the factory hood latch on my project so I've been looking at different options. I really like the Aero Catch but I'm not a big fan of having a black composite latch sticking out of the hood. Who here has used Vette latches?

I think Larry Callahan is going to use Vette latches. I like how clean the Mule latches are which I think are BMW if I remember the thread right.

What about that electric-life reverse opening setup?

I'm in the same boat Scott. I spoke with Larry Callahan and got some pictures. He is using the Vette side latches. That will probably how I go too.
Check this out.

I'll have to do something like that but I'm still looking at options. I really like the Aero Catch setup that was on Delaney's Challnger but I'm not wild about the exposed area.

Wait till Rupp finishes the '68. He is putting them on it. Then decide. Not like you will be done by then anyway.

lol, true.

I've seen them up close, Steve and I were checking them out at SEMA. I just don't know that they would look right against a red hood. But, they are priced right...

If you paint them red, you probably wouldn't really see them. Are the ones in the picture the "flush mount" versions?

I'm in the same boat, but those Aero Catch set ups are ugly. I think the camaro hood is too clean for a setup like that, personally.
