Default Anyone have a 69 camaro with a stripped out dash right now?

I am in the process of rebuilding my 69' and am doing the dash currently. There was a brace in the lower middle of the dash that looks to have gone to the firewall but I am not sure due to the car not having a dash at all when I purchased it. I would greatly appreciate and photos you guys could share showing the brace / braces...

Thank you !

Jason

I just went outside to look.
I think your talking about the bracket next to the ashtray, right?
If so, that bracket goes up to the mount that holds the speaker.
I already cut it out but maybe the pics I could help.

I just got a new computer w/o anything to reduce file size.
I'll email them to you.

Thank you, that is exactly what I was needing to know. The dash I bought only has about 3" of brace there and the firewall/ upper dash area has about 1/2" , I assumed it was a brace. Am I safe to say that without using the dash speaker, I can just add a strip of metal to connect the 2 pieces?

Thank you for the help !!

I think so too.
Its a small strip of metal connecting them.
Good luck!
