Default How much is too much?

I know we all say there's no such thing as too much HP... but honestly, there has to be...

what too much for you guys?

For me, a daily driver hovering around 500hp is the limit.

Fun car.. hell, any # under 1000hp is about my limit.

you guys?

I'm shooting for 1500+hp with my current project. I'm pretty confident it'll be enough for me...

My current car has about 500. I like it, but the next car will be twin turbo. I hope for 1200HP. I think I could drive it on the street no problem.
Too Much for me would be 1600ish

Lightbulb Hp

Speaking for myself, the last ride I had made 500hp on the dyno. After 1 season I needed more!! So at this point I would like my next ride to be near the 700-800 hp range. But I have the feeling after having some seat time behind the wheel, I will be looking for more. So,lets say 750-1200hp should do-it!! (For now)

depends on what you comfortable with.

my current motor is 1100,w/o spray.

but i have been driving 800+hp cars for years,so a 500hp car to me is weak.

i'd say more the merrier.

Depends on what you're building, how you will use it, and how much seat time you have.

-What good is 750HP if it can't hook up or will break parts when it does hook up?
-And what good is big power if you will run out of talent trying to apply it?

Haggerty Insurance triples once you go past 500 HP. Thats why I stayed at 475.

Anything over 500hp on the street is just about useless on street tires. Once you start making more than that you have to really start making suspension, frame, and safety changes. Just my $.02

On the track turn it up and let it RIP!
