Rushforth and Hickman are great. There's McBride and Hermance too.

I'll throw my hat in the ring. There are a lot of artists out there, it's just a matter of what you want. Hand drawn or digital, realistic or stylized, and of course how much you're wanting to spend.

Here's some of my latest work:

Shoot me over an e-mail if you might be interested.

Thanks Travis!
There's lots of talent on this site so just click the Artwork page and see who's style and price you like. Every project should start with a professional rendering. It will save you from redoing any work to the car that didn't turn out the way you hoped and it's a lot cheaper than a paint job, body mod, or wheels you don't like after it's all said and done. That's just one of the many reasons all the pros hire us before they start cutting, grinding, and welding!
The only other piece of advice I'd suggest for anyone thinking about hiring a pro is to be openminded and not just ask us to draw a strict portrait because we do this for a living and have lots of ideas up our sleeves just waiting for the right customer.
Good Luck!

Thanks a lot! That's a good example of my style and the kind of cars I like to design but I also design cars with 1/10 of that car's budget that look killer too!

Yeah, I'm going to reiterate what Jason and Kris pointed out. We each have different styles, techniques and price guidelines. For instance, Jason is very successful with traditional drawing methods, Hickman, McBride and I seem to have a mixed media method using some traditional methods and some CAD(photoshop), and everyone knows Kris' unique 3D CAD style.

When someone contacts me looking for just a paint scheme and wheel upgrade, I like to photoshop a hi-res photo. It's quick, relatively easy, less expensive for my customer (depending on # of variations and graphic complexity) and you get exact proportions and lighting. The down side is that you are limited by the quality of the image received from the client. That's why I like to offer both methods. Here is an example of something I worked on for a Camaro enthusiast magazine a couple weeks ago. You can see what I started with in the inset photo.

I'm sure one of us can do exactly what you need.

Good Luck!
Ben
