Default Jackass w/ LS9: original build and new Jackass 2.0 updates!

This is Charlie's new car that is being built in Detroit. It will have an LS9 engine and typical Pro-Touring treatment. Attached are some photos of the car at Autorama last year in bare metal. Reiter's Metal Craft in Mt. Clemens, MI did the metal and body work. It was awesome to see the car in 100% raw metal. I've used Reiter for 4 projects and I've always been happy with their work.

Joe Borschk did the cage and exhaust work at Katech. Joe is back in business for himself at Stenod Performance after being at Katech for awhile.

Over all, the car is turning out great. I'm managing the project for Charlie while I'm also working on my '69 Camaro.

Default More Jackass

Yes the brakes are Brembo ZR-1. They are very cool and work very well.

We are painting out some samples to sort out the color. The plan is to be in color by Jan 1.

Attached are a couple more photos including a LS9 intake mock up. It should all work well. We are finalizing the engine bay prior to paint. Ron Davis made a one off radiator for better cooling with integral oil and power steering coolers. The ICHE (Intercooler) is also upsized over the ZR-1 for better blower efficiency.

That will be an amazing car when it's complete...it's amazing now...! I hope to one day have a car of that caliber.
