Default Thoughts on this welder...Lincoln 140?

I'm looking at the Lincoln power mig 140T for some light duty welding. Mostly for sheet metal and exhaust work. The heaviest I'd go is 3/16" thick. This thing will do aluminum as well with a spool gun. I don't have 220/230 volt outlets in my garage so this looks like the most powerful 110/120v out there.

There's a good sale on them right now so anyone have any feedback? I want to stay with one of the big 3.

I have a Lincoln 135T and I like it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for a 120V welder.

I've been using a 110 mig since they first came out, worked on cars, pickups and motorcycles, its all I ever needed.

I bought another new mig 110 two years ago, but I went in with an open mind to look at millers and lincolns, the local welding supply sold both, and had both of them on the floor.

I asked him to show me the difference in the two welders, even if you have to drive a ways, its worth the comparison.

I'm not going to say which one is better, but I definitely would check the two of them out.

Good to hear that you guys have had success with similar welders. I picked up the Lincoln today for $499 and that comes with the regulator. I can't wait to get busy on the car and get some exhaust and bodywork done.
